Receive answers to your most pressing scientific and technical questions through the submission of a Technical Inquiry.
 
The DoD IACs efficiently accesses the comprehensive repository of important STI that has been generated over the past half century and makes it available on demand to the DoD and great S&T community. The IACs provide access to this knowledge and information via a consortium of scientists, engineers and information specialists that are available to answer technical questions and perform specialized research and analysis that includes:
 
bullet Literature searches bullet Document requests bullet Answer technical questions bullet Referral to subject matter expert (SME)

 
Our SMEs are readily available to help prepare timely and authoritative answers to even your most difficult inquiries.
 
Available to members of the military, government, and their contractors. Requesters must meet the eligibility & need-to-know requirements for access to export controlled technical information, DoD technical information, and classified information, where applicable.
 

 
 
  • Requires 4 or less technical labor hours to answer
  • No cost to customers for each distinct inquiry
  • Requires between 5 and 160 technical hours of research
  • Customer funded via MIPR or 7600B
  • $50K maximum ceiling
  • Shall be fully funded at time of issuance/award
  • Allow flexibility for contract types of CPFF and FFP
  • Classified and Unclassified services (Up to Top Secret (compartmented and collateral))

IAC MAC Task Order

Supports high-dollar R&D projects that provide studies, complex analysis, engineering and technical services.

IAC Task Order

Designed to support R&D studies & analysis or prototyping requirements that are less than $1M and can be completed in 12 months or less.

These services support all military Services, Combatant Commands, DoD Agencies, and Federal Government partners.

IAC MAC TASK ORDER OVERVIEW

Scope:

  • Operational Research, Development, Test, & Evaluation services and other R&D-related analytical services
  • Provides advanced research and analysis to the DoD Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Acquisition communities
  • Broad technical domain Technical Focus Areas
  • Level of research and analysis is above and beyond a IAC Specialized Task Order

  • Interagency Agreement (IAA) General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) Section (FS Form 7600A) satisfies the requirement for a support agreement since the servicing agency (DTIC and its contracting offices) is within DoD

SPECIALIZED TASK ORDER OVERVIEW

Scope:

A IAC Task Order may be initiated to acquire a scientific or technical analysis effort or associated technology. All IAC Task Orders must have an analytical component and generate new useable scientific and technical information (STI) or other knowledge. The following criteria shall be met:

bullet Be within the technical scope/mission of the IAC.
bullet Produce new experimental data, scientific and/or technical knowledge or expertise not otherwise or previously available to the IAC or to the R&D, Acquisition, or Warfighter communities to be leveraged by all DoD and other government agency components.
bullet Benefit the Government based on the technical/technologist expertise available at the IAC.
